Dan is doing the music for the Park Bench Players mental health play entitled, " With A Little Help From Are Friends". The play aims to debunk the myths around mental illness and celebrates all the wonderful things people with a mental illness diagnosis achieve each day.

I'm involved with a great project with great people. It's the development of a mental health awareness play. I wrote a song for the show and will be singing as part of the show. Nov.13th should be a great time and this show will definitely hit the road locally and throughout the province in the coming year. Great work folks...I'm proud of you!

Hi had an awesome time today at the Canada's Got Talent auditions in Halifax. Well organized event, met some great people, and the staff of the show were very nice. All in all, a great experience and I hope I make it to the next round.

Dan will be planning a video shoot for a One of the Girls Video early next week. He will also have a few of his songs added to Youtube and his Facebook page, so stay tuned.

I was invited to participate in songwriter circles this fall/winter in Pictou County. Stay tuned for details.

Dan will be hosting a series of songwriter circles with Betsy MacDonald and Andrew Stalker throughout Nova Scotia over the next six months. Stay tuned and come out and see Dan and his friends in your town!

Just a reminder that Betsy MacDonald, Andrew Stalker and Dan will be doing a songwriter circle this coming Saturday, May 28 from 8-10 p.m. at the Prissy Pig restaurant in Antigonish.

My Family lost a wonderful member...my Mother-In-Law died January 12 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease. She was only 64. She was a wonderful wife and mother and she will be missed...never forgotten. Dan

I'm taking some time off to write. I have a few songs that are driving me nuts trying to finish. The only way to do that right is to dedicate some time to writing.
